A Wedding in Spain, 28 Published Posts and a Poll.

And why there won't be a story next Monday.

Thank you all SO MUCH for following along on this memoir journey of mine! I truly appreciate all your comments and feedback as I forge this new path into the writing forest unknown.

So, first, my old friend Michelle is getting hitched after a long courtship. Her and her beau have lived in Spain for years and years, so since David and I have relocated to Lisbon Portugal there was not reason NOT to attend! And that brings me to telling you about a couple things.

First, you should read Michelle’s Substack (and participate!) It’s called That Place You Love. I’ve included the link below. Michelle picks a topic and writes a short essay. The reader is then asked to write their own story in the comment line about that weeks topic. It’s really fun and intriguing to read the others stories and viewpoints. I included the link below.

Next, I cant believe that I have published 28 posts! It doesn’t seem as though I had that many stories to write about, but more and more memories just keep coming back to me as I sit down every week. So, here’s to many many more!

Lastly, I would love to hear from you, dear reader, so I created a poll to see how I’m rating with you. As my friend Jefferson commented, If I was putting this thing out as a book people wouldn’t have the opportunity to comment about each story as I go. So, this is a real experiment to see how people react to each story and its topic. Please participate and PLEASE leave me some words if you are enjoying the stories and why. I really appreciate the feedback and making conversation.
