So, I’ve made a solo record…
About 3 years ago I started gathering songs that I had written over the last decade that were all but put on a shelf and forgotten. The songs were a collection of thoughts on aging and what that meant to me. Topics such as growing old with the same person, finding gray hair and wrinkles sexy and feeling lustful of them. Songs of loss and regret and what happens in the here-after are gathered as well.
The musicians that helped back me up are old friends and indie-rockstars in their own right. I’m forever grateful that they took out the time from their musical endeavors to contribute their talents and time to this record.
It is being released through Declared Goods and was produced by the great Rob Girardi and mastered by the amazingly talented Heba Kandry. ( look them up… they have worked with some extremely talented musicians)
This past Friday was the debut of the first single release for my first solo record, titled “The Silver Garden” that will be coming out in October.
The first single, “Lullaby” was released yesterday (7/28/23) on all the steaming platforms as well as a beautifully shot video that was created by A-List photographer Shane Gardner at RocknRollSocialite.
If you are curious you can see the video below.

This Monday I’ll be posting another amazing Personal Chef tale and next Friday I’ll be back with a new recipe.
Thanks everyone!
Shirle this is a fantastic track! Both rollicking and hypnotic. I love the way your vocals float on top of the keys.
Thanks to Nolan Green for re-Stacking this post!
