FRIDAY RECIPE: Lemon & Coconut Dhal Dip w/ Pita Chips
A luscious, healthy snack with sweet coconut and zesty lemon. A powerhouse of health in every bite, serve this at your next summer time gathering.

There are many recipes for Red Dal Dip, but this is one of my favorites. I sometimes would top with toasted coconut for extra coconutty flavor (is that even a word?! Lol!)
2 inch piece of ginger-peeled and finely chopped
1 onion-finely chopped
2 garlic cloves-minced
2 small red chilis(like Thai chilis)- seeded and finely chopped
2 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp toasted cumin seeds + 1/4tsp for garnish
